A few years ago, mother started to get some pain over her shoulders, head and back. It got to the point where she could no longer sleep and I had to carry her legs into the car.
The doctor's did so many tests on her and could not fina anything.
Finally, I took her to a specialist and he said she had some form of inflamatory condition.
Later she was found to have 'POLYMYALGIA'.
I guess it's like a form of Fibromyalgia but only in certain or secific parts of the body.
Until this day, no one really knows what causes this condition.
Her prescriptions were 'cortiosteriods'.
Although they have worked for her, this is her 3rd year on them.
Has anyone out there heard or or experienced this condition?
