Jeez M- I really feel for you, and I feel badly that migraines hit you so hard. I suffer from chronic headaches, for which I see a neurologist, but fortunately they are not migraines. I take daily preventative meds to keep them at bay- sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. That's life.

Your yesterday sounds pretty hellacious. I hope your family is supportive of your diagnosis.

Anyway, I wanted to say that those heinous migraine headache med commercials on TV are equally annoying to me! They'd be laughable if they weren't so obnoxiously bogus.

Thanks.I've got migraine hangover today.And not sure if I'm out of the woods yet.I feel so sick. If you go to the er,most er's are trained to triage migraineurs/chronic pain patients last.Which means,anyone comes before you,even those who come in long after you. I waited 6hrs one er visit,everyone who was there before me& everyone after me was seen,even another migraineur.I knew he had migraine,his son wheeled him in(I was also wheeled in as I couldn't walk)& he had a dry cloth over his face.He & I were about the same age.But they took him right back.I could hear him dry heaving.I knew they took him right back because he was a man,men are taken more seriously.I've gone in dry heaving,fainting,didn't matter. The er waiting rm is bright,has 2 tv's going. Anyway,looks like it's back to the couch,the room is spinning.Thanks for positive thoughts.
