I do think some people are turned off by Hillary just because she is a strong personality. The thing I don't understand is why people keep calling Obama a black man. He is biracial, not black. Why is he running as a black man, when he is half white???

I wonder that about Obama too. My guess is that he identifies with his black side, not so much the white. He looks more like a black than a white, so it would have been easier to say "I'm black", than to try to explain things, maybe?

well, sure, gatorgal, i can show my teeth and growl with the best of the bitches! the word does not offend me personally, but, in some circles, bitch is considered as offensive to a woman as the n-word is to blacks. i think when women call themselves bitches, it's a whole other thing than when a man calls them that. kind of like that insider/outsider language.

i think i read someplace once that here in the USA if you have any black blood, you are officially considered black. it's something like the 1/32nd law. i will look it up.
