About Afghanistan, and other questions.

I'm confused.

Mr. Bush took us into Afghanistan to chase Mr. Bin Laden, because HE was the force behind the 911 tragedy. We needed to topple the Taliban because of the horrible oppression visited upon the Afghanis by the theocracy.

We went in, dropped a few bombs... killed a few people, didn't get Mr. Bin Laden, didn't topple the theocracy, did not free the women of Afghanistan, and in fact, what the hell DID we do?

We got distracted. Went to war in Iraq. Had a grand old time getting Mr. Hussein, and eventually getting him hanged. Really fixing that place up too, huh?

And in fact, I wonder exactly WHY the price of gasoline is so high here in the US when we obviously have control of the Iraqi oil?

do we have control of the iraq oil? do we have control, really, of anything in iraq? hasnt this all just been one great big heartbreaking f**k up from the get-go?

We went to war with Iraq because our "president" said Hussein had WMD, and that he was am imminent threat to our country. Think that screwing should be spelled in all caps!!!
