Oh how AWFUL! I'm not a vegetarian, in fact, I don't even like vegetables, but I'd at least kill the animals humanely.

I have 4 cats, 2 dogs and 2 horses. Knowing they do feel pain & have their own personalities makes it unconscionable for anyone to do what they are doing, even with the "downers."

Veg, I'd torture the people who do this without a second thought, so just think what I might be able to do to someone who would rape and/or murder my children !!! It's not an "eye for an eye", it's education, punishment, and preventing them from ever doing it again!

then that meat went to the national school lunch program. nothing like feeding our kids meat from sick animals!

Of course the argument could be made that "we must feed our poor children".

(comment made tongue in cheek). Yet another example of the "inhumanity of man". I saw videos a while back of cats being boiled and skinned alive for food in China. It's call "desensitization". Some people think it is OK and normal.

I don't even eat red meat. And, I love my cat.
