Are Gods, if there are some, alive?
...

Why do you ask, Sugata?

Are Gods, if there are some, alive?
...

If you mean the God of the Bible, yes He is!!!!
He is the one and only God you will ever need. I know others won't agree with that, but I don't care. Everyone can believe in what they want.
I'm a believer in God...
Well, one of the definitions of life is the ability to reproduce. So, if God is alive, does he/she/it reproduce? What happens to the progeny?

God created man, and breathes soul breath into each infant as it takes its first breath. I think that will pretty much do the trick.
Also, God is not bound by our finite laws and rules, so it's not required that He have "progeny" in the way you are speaking, although you might consider His son, Jesus Christ.
And in answer to your question, God is very much alive and well!!
Sugata: You are trying to apply logic to a myth. You've already received the "god isn't bound by laws or rules" response that is the best tip-off that there is no such think as a god.
That, obviously, doesn't keep people from thinking there is such a thing. Some people clearly have a strong need to believe in the myth.

Prove it. ; - )
Are giant, man-eating invisible inter-spatial sea-anemonies that can manipulate matter with their minds alive? If not...prove it!
Or, in simpler terms, prove that the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not exist (especially since one of the chief tenets of his existence is that it is impossible to prove that He exists. Therefore, if you cannot prove that He exists...he does! QED)
