Sadbird, does that matter in your divorce? It sounds like you are in a war, and for that you have my sympathies, but whether it's against a local law/ordinance doesn't seem to matter to your case. I don't live in a state where one party can contest another's "request" for divorce -- I hope you are getting good legal advice.

Your own attorney should know or be able to find out. I agree with Robin, though. Where he lives or whether he's breaking the law is not your problem any longer.

If he has an office, that means he has more than a meanial job... So I don't see how you are making him 'homeless'. It sounds like he's 'playing' the system. So you'd better get a GOOD attorney.
