Lately I've been toying with the idea of augmenting my other day job (since I have more free time). What do you think of a lawn service that used electric mowers? They make larger more expensive commercial electric mowers but right now I'm focused on the smaller, cordless push mowers. They run for about an hour per charge so you'd need back-up batteries obviously.
I had a lawn service (conventional) years ago, but now they have electric blowers, hedge trimmers etc...
I've researched the mowers and narrowed the field to three brands. I know this concept would have some drawbacks but I really feel its time has come. I hear complaints all the time of the noise factor tied to conventional services, the lawn mowers finally stop then the blowers and weedwackers etc... start up.
I'm just curious as to what others think about the idea, pros / cons.
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
