I don't know. I do care, but it is a personal matter and as long as no one tries to force their belief structure on me it is an interesting topic of discussion.

If there are atheist, then doesn't that mean that there would have to be a God. Otherwise they wouldn't have a reason to not believe.

Okay...this is only one persons view. And that view is...I don't think it matters. If there is great. But what is it's nature, it's stucture? Does it have a personality? Emotions? Is it's ego so big that it needs to be worshipped? ...and if there isn't one then what? Is it possible for us to get along without them? What seriously and truly would change about us if there isn't one? Certainly it would put an end to all those people who claim to be acting for God. Would be kind of nice to be rid of things like the Taliban, Al Queda and TV preachers.

I am a Christian, and I believe in God, I however do not picture Our Father in heaven, as necessarily male, I believe it could equally be our Mother in heaven. In private prayers I sometimes say my mother and father in heaven.

I do not think God really needs worship, but that he told us to do it, because he knew that many people would need it, just as they need to pray, and believe in God.
