Until I did a big purge at my house before moving, I had a huge collection of cookbooks. I love reading recipes. My follow-through isn't that great, but that's another matter. With the books now gone, my recipe dreaming is now internet based.
Oh my goodness, take a look at the pictures of the food at this site by designers called Tastespotting. To see it, click the following link: (I found the site through bzzagent, so the link goes through them initially - just click on the large photo of the FOOD, glorious food)

It's a collection of recipes submitted and approved by the site's designers. Anyone can submit, but not all will make the grade. This is quality based and judged - they call it "curated" and they maintain standards on what is acceptable.
The hook is that the food is absolutely beautifully photographed, and then there is a blog about each recipe. Right now the photo at the bottom on the far left is a birthday cake someone made for his/her dogs.
The dessert recipes are killing me - I'm on a low carb diet and I'm dreaming about the mint chocolate chip ice cream cake. I would think a few folks in here would have some great submissions!
