Groovy. hehehe

Everytime I hear that one, I know approximately how old a person is!

I catch myself wanting to use 'dis' and 'props' a lot.

Dis= to discredit, run down, insult

Props= 'to give props', to give credit, praise

Oh my, when I see Groovy written down I want to blame the Brady family, despite me using it once too often myself.

I love the word Dis and loved to say, "Don't dis me," to my kids.

Can you believe the word Props is new to me? I get it and I like it but I now wonder what rock I must have crawled out of.

Such great words, Just-a-Writer.

So now if I use them, maybe people won't go, "What is she, a kid?"

Naw, I live with kids!! lol

I am sure they will just say, "She's got to be kidding, right?"

Do your kids ever roll their eyes at you as if you were antiquated?

Naw, I'm too hip for that. *snicker* (there's another one, 'hip')

It's funny, I get fewer funny looks from using the current slang than I do using older slang.

*Hip, Mom? Did you actually say 'hip'?

Just-A-Writer, I have to definitely give you Props for receiving comments from the kids like that.

The only thing left that is Hip about me is they are now wider than when I was young.

Hhmm....

We won't discuss those hips..... lol
