Mine was when I was a church secretary. The Pastor trusted me totally to compose all letters for her. After a revival brought 6 teens to the altar dedicating their lives, she asked me to compose a note to the parents and tell them about that evening.

I wrote,

Dear Parent, last evening your Teen made a life altering decision to accept Christ as their personal Savior. We, at Church would like your permission to neuter them.

I meant to say nurture. The Pastor never read anything I wrote, but fortunately, as I was putting the letters in an envelope to mail, I caught my typo and corrected it.

I think though that I might have been on to a good idea.
