Well, Earl, you got this far. You need to be more specific though. What is it exactly that you are trying to do, and what is your error message.

i am also new to computer use. sugestions-

do not be intimidated by your machine-

i duobt that it can kill you & it deffinately cant eat you.

buy a pak of index cards-title on top-

what you are tring to do

simplify the steps ,to acomplish yuor

goal- and rite them down.

walk away from the machine BEFORE yuo

get so frusterated that yuor brain shuts down....you dont have to turn it off..

i find that covering it up with a towel

is effective.

run a ad in yuor local paper offering

10 bucks an hour for someone to teach you the basics-say for two hours a week.

every time yuo do something sucessfuly

rite it down on index cards-so that you

can remember the next time.

no guts-no glory dont give up!

Index cards??

Gee.. learning a word processor should be the first thing to master so you/he doesn't need index cards.

Then learn to use the search function. The computer is VERY fast at finding things. All you have to do is remember one word of the title or contents.

We were all new at one time. There are some VERY helpful web-sites now-a-days. Google is your friend.

If you can get as far as google.
