I know what you mean. I did sales for a while in one of the world's largest department stores. I'd never do it again for pretty much the same reasons you had trouble with service, I had trouble with some of the mean customers and a chop-happy supervisor. It was a great thing getting the heck out of there.
I guess I would learn the language of a country that I was going to live in.
Lines! Aren't they the pits? As if we were waiting for rations!

Pleasant dreams.

Would you like a Slushy with your gas purchase today...I can't stand companies that outsource their customer service calls to India.
Oh yes, I feel your frustration! Although in for me it is the people born and raised here that are supposedly speaking English that still cannot communicate in the language. I'll take someone that is at least trying to understand over someone that is just too lazy to make the attempt.
Dealing with people can be challenging, for sure. I'm less patient than you are. That's a big reason why I work for myself, by myself, all alone. Works for me.
I know exactly what you mean. Add on the fact that I have been turned down for good paying jobs because I am not bi-lingual.
Does anyone have an issue with the lack of customer service at airlines?
I think you just got up from the wrong side of the bed... that's all.
