OK. Seriously, which can sometimes be difficult. I go out with my buds once a week and my wife goes out with her friends fairly often. It's only fair and no big deal, but I do live in Seattle.

I have live in the south all my life and know exactly what you are talking about. But when it comes down to it, I went with what worked for me and mine. If you are good with your husband going out with the guys and he is good with you going with the gals - do it! Have fun!

I'm from Jersey and now live in Fla.I've found no bias in either state more then the other. All depends on nutty thinking.Both sexes need time alone with friends.I didn't like football and he didn't like the ballet.We both kept up our own interests- no problem

I agree...I live in deep South......the very conservative state of Alabama, work in a male dominated environment....they all hunt and fish. When I ask my male co-workers what the wife does while they are gone hunting and fishing the reply is "stay home of course". When I suggest maybe the wives would like some "me" time they look at me like I'm crazy.

Myself....I have a regular Sat. night thing going....hubby doesn't say anything....and he better not!! Not only do I deserve it, but after 25 years I've EARNED it!!
