I wanted to say hello to everyone this morning and, in particular, the new members that we seem to have garnered from tbd's listing of this group on the main page (thanks tbd!). I hope that you have found at least one posting in the group that you may have found interesting and/or worthwhile. I invite all of you to comment on any thread or to post your own discussion. Our main purpose here is to share information, insights, or just a few kind words with others in a forum where we can feel safe.
Those of you who know me may have noticed that I have changed my avatar again. I've been browsing through some photos that my father has scanned from his massive photo album collection. He has been the very prolific documenter of our lives throughout the years and has amassed a collection, neatly organized into albums, that spans nearly 60 years of our family's life.
As I've browsed his first few scanned albums, I've realized that I've lost touch with that baby, toddler, little girl, teenager that I used to be. So I've decided to try to get back in touch, and one way I'm doing that is to give myself a different face from the past occasionally. So stand by for an interesting (and sometimes scary) trip through "who Kathie used to be!"
