Someone a while back asked the question "would you have yourself cloned?" At first I laughed it off, but the idea stayed with me. It finally dawned on me, how would I be different if I had raised myself?
First off, I would love her unconditionally. I would stay right in the trenches of growing up with her, and let her know me as a guide as well as a mother. I would teach her right from the beginning how worthy she is of her own respect, to act like it always, and expect it from others she wants to bring into her life.
I would never tell her lies. I would explain to little DeeD that there are things called biases, theories, and all kinds of philosophies, and that I would get into these things with her as she got old enough to understand. And if she wanted to experiment with any of them or all of them, I would support her, but in a grounding way. Love, compassion, and not doing to others what you don't want done to you would be my grounding motto.
These are just a few things that are running around in my brain. Just wondering how I might have turned out
