If weed was legal that would be our biggest crop in this country. Even now it's pretty damn huge.

In the good old days, $20 bought a big baggie, full of sticks, seeds and leaves. People would hand out joints at parties or while watching tv, as though offering a drink. I never knew of anyone who was caught by the police in upstate NY.

I've already had a few tokes for you Leo. Sad to not be able to celebrate properly. Marijuana is already the biggest cash crop in the country even though it is still illegal most places to grow. It is bigger than the tobacco crop here in NC. I have long thought we should be using it for medicine, clothing, fuel, etc. instead of throwing people in jail for it. We can thank Dupont for lobbying to make it illegal so we could have inferior polyester clothing. I think we should legalize it and tax the hell out of it. Then we could begin to pay off some of our debts. Here is chart of cash crops for '06. Amazing.

Oops. Almost forgot. That nickel bag is now called a quarter bag & you can multiply the cost by about 10 times. What used to be 5 bucks is now $40 - $100, but the quality is much better.
