OK. Understood. But it is my opinion. I do not care for documentaries, only because most of the info now you can find on the internet.

As a matter of fact, they will fall by the wayside to the internet.

these days, all movies end up with some internet presence - be it download to your apple tv; streaming on netfilx.

many viewers don't have the time to research all aspects of a topic. documentary film makers are agenda setters in public relations and communications vernacular.

nonetheless, many people like to watch stuff on the big screen and at least some 'buzz' creation happens in movie circles off-line.

in part, as a result of 'super size me' the fast food industry changed its marketing practices.

Movies are entertainment, documentaries are buzz kills. Docs would get better turn out if on PBS. But it's all about money isn't it? And don't under-estimate people. Some don't have the time or money to see a doc.

Wouldn't think of watching movies on a pc.
