Today, I saw my dog (Sheba) in the yard acting strangely.

I went to see what was up and she was with a baby bird that had fallen our of it's nest.

Sheba is a 90lb Chow/German Shepard mix and could have eaten that baby bird in one chomp.

She was caring for it!!

Unfortunately, it died because the ants attacked it.

Sheba is a wonderful dog. We adopted her when she was about 2 from an animal shelter. Her original owners neglected her.

She's 12 now and still a very sweet dog.
