My year-old Lab takes Rimadyl, a half of 100 mg tab twice a day. The vet charged $73.10 for a bottle of 60 tabs. When I asked how to go about obtaining a prescription so I could order online, I was told they would not provide one. I was ready to say 'adios' to the place, though I very much respect and like our veterinarian. I was told they would not do that because the quality/age of the medication could not be guaranteed when purchased anywhere else. Maybe. BUT...they did say that if I brought in quoted price from a website, they'd match it.

Well, I did see discountpetdrugs.com has the same bottle for $53, and entirelypets.com has a bottle of 180 tabs for $143. Anyone know of any better/cheaper sites to purchase pet meds?
