You kids can have all the fun you want following the 49ers, but we all know who is still undefeated this season. And what a day for Bret Favre.

As I just posted to DavidMarkus (talk about great minds thinking alike - you were starting this discussion, as I was posting to him)
"MIAMI (Reuters) - Brett Favre, the Green Bay Packers quarterback, set a new record for NFL touchdown passes on Sunday when he threw the 421st of his career to break Dan Marino's record.
Favre set the record during the first quarter of Sunday's game at the Minnesota Vikings with a pass to Greg Jennings."
He's been my main man since '98 (and I don't normally even LIKE football... much

Great day to be a PACKER FAN!!! We love Brett! # 4 braeks another record.
Green Bay Packers are 4-0! Wow!
I am glad he did not retire. Packer fans are enjoying the ride. We beat the dreaded Vikings at the Dome. Thank you Brett and Team Packers!

This was not the week for Minnesota; the Gophers dug themselves deeper in the Big Ten hole, the Vikings lost, so they'll be the footnote in Brett Favre's stats for eternity, and there is Talia and onfireforjc7 pouring Mortons on my wounded psyche. Anhd washing it off with lemon juice and vinegar.
Thanks ladies... (waaah)

I did not mean to rub it. Just enjoying the records and victories. Maybe consider moving to WI. The Badgers won.
There is always next week.......

Sorry onfire, but the state of Wisc came down to earth this weekend. Badgers and the Pack. What was Brett thinking with that interception. Bears are just not that good. Like you, I love #4, but, man, sometimes, he's just too crazy to throw when he shouldn't.
That said, my Niners have perhaps the worst offense in the NFL. AAARGH!!
And a terrific defense. Double AAARGH!!!

The Pack was sooooooooooo good in the first half. The second half was terrible. All turnovers are a disaster!
Brett is great. However, thr intercep[tions really hurt our Packers.
Brett reminds me of Gorman Thomas. Gorman played baseball with the Milwaukee
Brewers. He was ALWAYS swining for the fence (long ball-homerun). Gorman struck out soooooooooo many times. However, He did hit more homeruns than any other Milw. Brewers at that time.
As with Brett. We get theses plays of greatness, touchdowns and then the dreaded interception.......

We should change this group to the "How 'bout those Packers" group. The Niners just aren't worth talking about-and the Pack, well, the Pack is back!!
I am so thrilled with the idea of a superbowl featuring Brett Favre and the Packers againt New England or Indianapolis. Could it happen?
