Hey, appleredds! Welcome to TBD!! I think cassy is correct, most people I know have their kids living with them at least several more times before they find their own lot in life. And with the housing issues, increase in cost of gas, and other domestic problems, I think more and more will be living at home for much longer. Do you like your kids? LOL
Howdy from South Texas. Still got a chick in the nest
I love having my kids and grandkids so close.
I should have put more detail in my quote. Forgive me. I love my daughters dearly. I have four and they are all in college, live in dorms and come home on breaks. We are so close that I miss them when they are gone. Now I have alot of free time on my hands.
I certainly understand missing them!! I have only one child, a daughter, who left home a little over a year ago after getting married 1 week prior. She was 18 y/o and her husband, 20 y/o.
We're adjusting to the more empty house, and it's not too bad. My husband and I married when I was 19 y/o and he was 21 y/o. We had been married 14 years when we decided to have her, and will be celebrating our 34 years together on August 24 of this year!! The neat thing is that we still like each other!! LOL
How old are your 4 girls, appleredds? Is your husband still with you, if you don't mind me asking?
