Definately CSI Vegas. The entire cast is great.

The Original for me please. I have been a big fan since show #1. I told a few fellow fans several years back that they were headed that direction with Sara and Grissom but they wouldn't believe it. I personally wish they hadn't gone that route. But, maybe that's why no one has hired me to write TV scripts.

My wife says when I wear my glasses I remind her of Grissom. When I take off my shirt, however, I don't seem to remind her of the other guys on the show.

Oh they were headed that way with Grissom and Sara from day one. If you watch the reruns on Spike TV, watch for it to cycle back to the beginning of the series.in the opener, after that newly hired girl is killed, Grissom calls Sara in. All I needed to see was the grin on his face when Sara got thru the crowd and started talking to his back while he's making notes about how the (test) dummies Nick was pitching from the roof of the casino were hitting the ground.

As for the difference on the glasses vs. shirt front, all I can say there is that ya' gotta figure that "Sara" and the guys are all around the age of 40. "Grissom" hits 55 in February. Check the IMdb. What amazes me is that "Catherine" at 49 looks older than "Grissom."

I started with CSI: LV, then starting watching CSI: Miami, then CSI: NY.

With CSI: Original, everyone seemed like they were trying to see who could be the most sarcastic...turn off, plus weren't funny after the first season...

CSI: NY didn't seem like it caught the flavor of NY...no real genuine NY accents...(that would have been cool..) a lot of dicing of NY scenery

I kinda like to sexiness of CSI:Miami, seems the heat gets to people...

I know I will get a lot of negative feed back on the comments, but Miami is my fav.

Much of this depends in what type of TV you like. Whatever it is, the CSI franchise has it all covered.

Comedy? You can't beat CSI: Miami. One of the funniest shows on TV. You just can't beat David Caruso chewing up the scenery (In fact, he's become some kind of an internet joke.) And every line of his sounds like it should conclude with a massive fanfare. The women walk around incredibly underdressed for their profession (not that I'm complaining). The overall acting is simply dreadful. Emily Proctor has about as much credibility as a forensic expert as my cat (and the others are not much better)! The plots are essentially warmed-over soap-operish; essentially one of the "lab" screws up and we spend an hour (or three) watching them wiggle out. These people shouldn't be in a crime lab -- they should probably be in jail (for impersonating actors, if nothing else).

Science-fiction? CSI: NY is for you. Forgetting for a minute the ridiculous plots, the science is flat-out absurd. For instance, do you remember where they ID'd a suspect from a reflection in an eyeball taken from a bank security camera. Have you ever seen a bank security photo? You're lucky you can even tell the sex of the person, let alone any details.

CSI is the best because, for the most part, they've kept true to the irignjal concept which is NOT to concentrate on the folks in the crime lab but on the crime(s) itself. It generally has taken years from any of the personal plots to develop because (specific) information on the characters is doled out with an eyedropper. As a result, the soap opera aspects are minimized. And when they'[re included, the show seems to suffer.

Aw gee, Nick, but that's the way that people tend to walk around in Florida. Well, at least the skinny to anorexic women...Ok, almost all the women who lack the common sense to wear enough clothes to appear decently dressed.

As for David Caruso, well, him and those sunglasses are a bit of a joke aren't they? Jim Carrey and a pair of sun glasses were on David Letterman one night during the last few months. He Kept saying various lines and putting on the sun glasses like Caruso does. It was hilarious.

Speaking of NY's Sci/Fi-ness...remember the episode where there was an arrow shot from a roof top through a couple pinning their corpses to the wall outside the guy's penthouse while there was a party going on inside?

I watch them all if I'm around, but the only one I TiVo is the orginal
