I love American Idol too... but I hate the auditions phase. I usually just tape those shows and fast forward through the "characters". How about you?

And also, are you surprised that last year's batch didn't produce even one new star? What happened?!

I always try to watch the auditions but sometimes I feel sorry for the weird contestants.Some,most,of them think they are good and they are just being made fun of.I feel embarresed for them.Like when I was young I would always feel embarresed for Jerry Lewis when he acted a fool.Maybe these people make me feel better about myself!I bet a shrink would tell me that.LOL!

I thought Blake Lewis would go places,but he isnt that hot on cd.I would go see him in person tho.

Anyway, maybe we will get another Carrie this year.

Whatever became of Taylor Hicks?I liked him on the show but when he made his talk show route he was pretty weird!

Idol is my favorite show I love to hate. But there is no escaping - I have a 15-yr old daughter and a very small house.

It's so bad it's good. If they had an "Idol" for old farts I would be first to sign up.

Okay, can we just talk about Paula for a second. What is going on with her? She looks like she's sleeping half the time. What do you think: Time for her to finally get the boot?

The scuttlebutt is that Paula has several physical ailments from her years as a dancer: back, hips, knees, ankles etc. and that she's all doped up on painkillers. She seemed particularly zonked last night. And who knows what they really have in those Coke cups?

It's okay with me if she slobbers a little. Kinda fits the spirit of the whole circus...

I think all three judges makes the competiton funnier.Simon is a cutie that I would like to slap sometimes.Like I would like to slap Tom Cruise,but thats another discussion.

Somebody asked me who I was going to vote for in the primaries yesterday, and I told 'em I couldn't say until I had weighed in with Randy, Paula and Semen. I mean Simon.

The kid who lives in his car - wow. Though I don't think he has what it takes to get very far in this competition, I'll bet he gets a record deal with some indie label and does very well. That's the kinda stuff my kids dig: Postal Service, Elliot Smith, The Kooks. Keep an eye on that kid.
