I hear where you are coming from, I know a lot of people and people seem to really like me but to say I have any real good frinds... I don't think I do. My closest friends are my sister and my daughter which aren't a bad thing but I guess I would like a real good friend that is outside the family.

Hello new friend. I'm always up for meeting new people. Yes I've had my share of hardships with so called friends but you get over it and move on. Life is too short and the world is a big place with lots of other people looking to commune with others. So hello there new friend.

I too would like to have friends outside my family.

My sister is my best and greatest friend but she lives in another city and traveling is not easy.

I like this site because everyone on here is my age and we all seem to have a great deal in common. Its nice. Its like walking into the Cheers bar and everybody knows your name.

Pleasure to meet you...I too tend to be shy and don't go out of my way to meet people but I'm trying to change that with being a member here.

I seem to have fallen into the right group. Reaching out to people is something I've never felt comfortable doing. I'm hoping to make some new friends here.
