I don't live there, I live in Kalamazoo, but Chicago is my favorite city on Earth (so far) and I love visiting. I will send a friend request and we can all go from there.

I go through Kalamazoo all the time. My doc for my head pain is in Ann Arbor.

If you come to Chicago all the time do you do the touristy things or the clubby things? What do you like about the city?

Ah, I'm a real sucker for history, so everything from the Biograph to Lincoln Park to Haymarket Square to the Chicago Historical Society... I also love Springfield, Illinois.

I always go to the independent bookstores like Powells, and often I'll time my visit around a favorite band playing there. Of course the food is great (usually) and we always have a good time getting a room with a view. Depending on the season, we make arrangements and we have never had a bad time. Waldheim Cemetary on May 1st (International Labor Day) is an annual rite and observation of the Haymarket Martyrs. We have a nice picnic, weather permitting, and some years there is a nice crowd of us.

My place is right off I-94 and about a mile and a half South.
