Advice anyone??? I'm newbee as of today here..

Just went back in '05 and finished up BSW and mediation certifications last month....

What now?

MSW?

Masters in Public Health online? (One at U of I has an Emergency Management emphasis that looks interesting...)???

Test for Nursing Home Administrator license?

Get a job??

Anyone on a similar track want to share some insight / ideas?

(Took early retirement a few years back and this will be 2nd career jag. Was a nurse and then Medical Records Director in previous lifetime...)

Ideas? Similar experiences? Anything?

I don't know where you are located, but the MSW sounds like a good option. There is a huge need for MSWs, especially in the field of child welfare. You can check with the MSW program you like and see about getting a paid degree (with stipends) if you are willing to work in child welfare. Many states offer this through their departments of children's services. If money is not an issue or child welfare is not your bag, going for licensure gives you a lot of latitude and you can practice privately while pursuing other options.
