I started back to school about 2 years ago - I did online and tv courses thru the local junior college to get my GPA up and get some of the 'boring'courses out of the way (like English Comp). then I did a few classes in Alcohol/Drug Counseling and NOW, I'm doing an online Bachelor's degree thru Ashford University. The whole thing is online, each class lasts just 5 weeks (so I don't have time to get bored with it), and it's mostly discussion groups with a paper due every 5 weeks.
I only have abou 7 months left - for those who want to go back to school, look into it. There is money just for older adults who are trying to go back, and for women there is even more help.
My belief is if you keep your brain moving, it won't turn to mush as fast.
