I was laid off from my job of 10 years. I am 45 years old and have a degree in CS but things have changed and I feel lost. I did go back to get some training in one of the fast track computer training facilities.....did not get much out of it....I have worked two jobs since I left but very unhappy with them. It seems I am burned out from the rat race...need a little peace away from the corporate america.
Have started teaching myself more about web design. I have been creating web pages for awhile but now I have gotten into the graphics and multimedia end of it. Does anybody know of a good place for advanced training on these type of things? I use vtc.com to learn some of these things but wondered if anybody knew of any additional resources on-line.
