It's never too late! I went to nursing school with a gal who was 65 at the time. She got her Cert. of Practical Nursing and stopped, that was her goal after all. Now at 40, I'm going back for my RN. I wish I would've gone back then when I was "fresh" and had more energy/time, but alas I did not. So, you can do it...if you choose to. :)

In California there is a 2 year Master's program that is a requisite for being a licensed marriage and family therapist. The Board of Behavioral Sciences told me of an alternative program of self study that I completed in 9 months. Now with the Internet, I'm sure there is a way for you to complete your studies without actually "going to college" with your children. Check with the body that licenses psychologists in your state for accredited alternative schooling.

I too want to go back, but I have this vision of me standing there at registration and one of the students approaching me to inquire about something as if I'm the staff. Seriously...Lol...

I know the drill. If I go to any store and stand still for a moment in an aisle, someone asks where to find something. God forbid if I go to Target with a red shirt on!
