I've hit a wall on one of my branches and who knows, maybe someone will see this and be able to help. My great grandfather on my mother's side was Sanders B. McKinnis who was born in Tennessee in 1854 and died in Missouri in 1912. He married (?) an Elnora Glover and the two of them are listed as my grandfather's parents on his marriage license. Sanders had a sister named Adelaine Susan (Cravens) and a brother named George and when he was very young they lived in Smith County, TN with a woman named Delana (Gregory) McKinnis, presumably their grandmother. Beyond this I know nothing about Sanders McKinnis or, in particular, his parentage.
