In the movie "When Harry met Sally", Harry mentioned to his buddy in NY, that last week, during his girlfriend's sexual climax "I made this woman meow". "You made a woman meow!" his friend exclaimed, very envious (as I most certainly would be, too).

Now, that's the sort of "talk" I would almost die for to hear during the heat of a woman's passion. Never have, and the chances don't look too bright either.

TonyA -- I think it's possible to get your partner to talk to you during sex. Initiate, be the first, and say something that requires a response. Something like "do you like the way I touch you" or "tell me what you want me to do."

I was very self conscious about making any sounds until I had a partner who was very verbal. He talked to me, sometimes sweet and sometimes wonderfully nasty. Eventually, it all became comfortable and natural.

Give it a whirl.

Some people love talking. Or talking in a certain way. Others find talk distracting and think the lips and tongue could be put to better uses. There's no right or wrong. Just what works for the two of you. And over time, that may change.

I LOVE being talked to in a bit of what my mother would have called a dirty way. I am WAY too self conscious to talk back. Wish that wasn't so, but it is. Years ago my husband assumed I didn't like it since I didn't do it back. It wasn't until fairly recently that the subject came up and I expressed my preference. Unfortunately so much time has gone by that now he's feeling a bit self conscious about it, but I think we'll get there.

I think my spouse likes when I say things but he does not say much. He says he does not speak English at those moments. LOL.

I would love for my husband to talk to me during sex and to talk dirty would be even better :) He doesn't even make a sound;

I have told him too, but he says he just feel uncomfortable doing it.
