If you are in a sexual realionship you need to ask him what he means

we both agreed to remain in a nonsexual relationship because we both value chastity as important to us.

I agree with dewi. He has changed his mind over the degree of intimacy in the relationship. He wants more sexual activity, which may or may not involve intercourse. He wants to renegotiate the chastity agreement and is getting very frustrated.

Ask him how you might accomplish what he's looking for. Make him spell it out. He might mean sexual intimacy, he might mean more personal disclosure. Don't guess.

Ask him what he wants to know better. If it is your body, then you have to decide whether his changes are in your best interest. If he says your history, after a year, isn't he entitled to know some of the family secrets? If he says your feelings, marry him because he will be one of the few men on this planet who gives a darn about them!

Why is there a 20-year-old posting this vent? Isn't there a place for very young people with relationship problems somewhere?

Most people in tbd have serious life experience with divorce, widowhood, career changes, health issues and LIFE.

Maybe if we do give this young woman the help she needs, she won't end up with serious life issues like divorce later. Perhaps it is the wisdom she seeks, not the callow and casual answers her friends may have.
