I tend to avoid this subject on TBD as the vast majority of Americans are the vast majority of cheap gasoline users.
The difference between Global Warming and Climate Change, in my opinion, is playing with semantics.
From what I have read (and I am not an expert on this subject by any means) I prefer on-line conversations to verbal communication these days.
There's less hot air expended.
However, I would submit that if America paid the same amount as we do for gasoline and almost every thing else, I think there would be less global warming.
Ergo, the climate change would be less noticeable. We MUST reduce our use of fossil fuels.
That's the view from a sunny, over-hot Sunday in the UK.

I have traveled world wide myself and have found that most Americans believe the world revolves around them.
I started this discussion because I read somewhere (I should keep more track of where) that the world is in a cooling period now. ( It was a science paper )

Oh Boy!
Have you opened a can of worms with your comment about the world revolving around America?
Sadly - that is precisely why America is held in disdain by the rest of the world - no matter who is in The White House.
We love it when you come and contribute to our local economy, but we get a little impatient with the constant bleating about the cost of everything when I hear tourists comparing the price of everything.
Almost everything in the US is a lot cheaper than here.

Just wondering does that mean were doing something correctly or incorrectly.
Could the disdain be caused by envy?
Just trying to further the conversation.
