I'm a newby too...trying to get the hang of it all. I'm used to the MySpace and Facebook format, but really ready for something geared more to our age.

Looking forward to making some new friends!

Well I'm having a hard time navigating, as you can see... I thought I was adding my picture as a profile-- ehm oops! If you can steer me in any direction on this site feel free to do so!

I keep up with my daughter in college on facebook... but my kids are the only friends on my page... I never found anyone I knew on there.

If you start at the TBD home page navigating may appear daunting, but from the front page I selected the panel on the right showing "Discussions". At the bottom of the panel there is the option to see all discussions. Click on that and there are three tabs at the top of the new display.

Select "Latest" and bookmark the url as a favourite and Bob's your uncle.

Well, that's the way I do it anyway!

I am no kid either, but I taught a lot of kids and I belong to Facebook and MySpace too. I have reconnected with a lot of kids and their parents. I am old enough for AARP, I get SSD, and July 1st I start Medicare, I am 52.

Hi new here too. It's like that at bars, everyone is younger and thinner. I don't go there much, but I get the feeling like what am I doing here? Just want to meet people who do not have agendas.
