Does social networking translate to dating at most of theses sites. I'm happily married but would like to expand my social network after being in roles that limited my contact with others. I'm comfortable with people of all ages and my 17 and 21 year old still like to hang out with us. I know and socialize with more 20+ people than people closer to my age but find it very hard to find open people over 40 with whom I share some interests and could form friendships.
Yeah we are here! I post every day, I guess not everyone enjoys the same topics. But I have been having nothing but fun meeting nice ppl. See ya!

There are a lot of groups here on tbd to join and a lot of different people to meet. Just click on the groups to find your interests and you will probably find people to befriend or just click on members and read profiles to find people with your interests. There are groups here on dating but if thats not you thing you just don't have to go there.

I'm here just like you as far as interacting with various people/groups.Just find a subject/group and dive in. You will find many areas of conversation and the people seem real nice. Good luck
Like you, I am happily married but I am somewhat older. I don't come here to date or even to get involved in the outside life of anyone here. I enjoy the topics I choose to respond to and many of the people who post here. You will find one thing here that doesn't seem to exist on FaceToob, Datemepleeeeese or UnoSmart or whatever the other sites are: intelligence and adult interests in a high percentage of the members. Those who are simply intersted in dating, leave here quickly because those relationships that form here do so over time, not over martinis.
Certainly if brains were mortages, there would be a few sub-primes here but on the whole, there is laughter, intellect, some well posted prose and a few questions that challenge you to respond.

I'm missing this dating theme here. How many of you hop a plane or drive 14 hrs for physical proximity based on this site?
I think we all have something in common here. We are looking to meet new ppl and have fun. It is nice to hear how other ppl feel about different topics. As far as dating, the subject has not come up? a lot of us are married and are just looking to chat nothing more.

Most of the friends that I've made here are married or in relationships. I stay away from the dating discussions because that's not why I'm here. We really are just grown-ups trying to have adult discussions. In the process we become friends. This is a great place to be.
