FIrst a little bit about me and why I raise this issue. I am retired Navy with 20 years served. For the most part, I serve while flying helicopters as a Naval Aircrewman with a number of jobs performed.
During my tour of duty, I served with many sailors, soldiers and Marines. During the kuwait war, I recall bring supplies to the Marines in the desert and thinking how young they were to stand a watch that may cause them their lives.
And yet, when back in the states, they could not seat a a bar to have a drink with the same people they were out there protecting with their own lives.
With the current war, we see more and more young patriots coming home dead or maimed, and yet, not allowed to order a drink at our local bar.
I am using the ordering of a drink as a vehicle for my point, but it does not have to necessarily be the consumption of alcohol. It could be exercising any right anyone else over twenty one could and they could not.
I have always believe that if our young man and women can stand the watch to keep our country free, they should also stand to be recognized everywhere else.
What is your take on that?

Does he look old enough to drink? Quick, before he pulls that trigger
