Just joined and been here for maybe up to a week. Thought I would pop in and say "Hello". It is great 2 be here and thanks 4 having this group. So I would like to know, where is a good place 2 go 4 breakfast in your city? I love Z Tejas here in Austin, it is a great place to eat and this place really spices things up!

Welcome here and hope you will have with all of us here. It is the place to be with our great members and wonderful and fun groups.
It is one of the few local establishments that serves breakfast. Bloomington-Normal, like many other places has been overtaken by chain restaurants, so not many local establishment that serve breakfast.
It has a great menu with every thing from crepes to eggs benedict. A classier than usual atmosphere for a breakfast and lunch only place. I haven't been in a while and don't even know if it is still open.
Welcome to the boards...can't say I really have a favorite restaurant as I don't eat out that much and it all depends on what food I'm in the mood for.

Z Tejas sounds yummy -- I'm not a breakfast person, but New Braunfels Smokehouse used to have some good breakfasts! They'll be re-opening soon, but won't be much of a restaurant anymore; they're concentrating more on their meat sales. :0(
