I am from the other end of the boomer scale. In fact way over the other end. But I love everything about the 50s and 60s. While in the Navy, as E M Club manager in the Philippines, I had the good fortune to work with Tiny Tim, The Coasters, Brenda Lee, The Platters, and my most memorable of all, LaVerne Baker. Her and I got drunk my last night at Clark Air Base. What a fun lady. The most gracious of all of them was Brenda Lee. What a sweet lady. And the man who put on the greatest show was Tiny Tim. He actually sang a medley of songs for 36 straight minutes. He was quite the card. Nice hearing from you. Bob

Well, sorry, I'm an active member on quite a few sights that are open, especially youtube, Plaxo, etc.....As for myself, my main interest, livelyhood, world and scope of experience is show biz, so if you have retired or active plumbers, teachers, bankers, etc. , they shouldn't refer to anything relative to that? Entertainment is who I am. Thought you'd like sometihng like this for your 40+ folks, after all, you're affiliated with the "Boomer Project" and it is solely commercial & marketing research. No?

Your comment deflects from the core issue: that you did not read or chose to ignore the community guidelines.

Apparently it continues to go unread or ignored as you missed the very last part which reads "If you have any questions, or to report any infractions, please contact Kat Brennan, TeeBeeDee's Community Guide". To continue to be an active member on "quite a few sites" (note corrected spelling), one must understand and abide by the guidelines and other terms of use of each of those sites... plain and simple.

Since the Community Guide has deemed your thread commercial, why not take the discussion offline with her? If she rules differently she will certainly let your subject matter return to public discussion.
