I don't remember...15 years or so I'd guess. That would be about the time my ex and I started going out. I've been on my own, in one sense or another, for the past 4 years and during that time...well, nobody has been willing to give me the time of day, much less accept a date.

Oh, Migratory...thank you for opening this post. I have lived in Orlando 7 years - no one has even ventured a second look. I chalked it up to age, too many brains over looks. Took solace in fun neighbors and functioning well as a single. There IS a difference between being alone and being lonely. I honestly wonder if society has become socially inaffectual - you know - no skills in approaching a stranger nicely, no desire to invest time in getting to know each other, or maybe justified fear that you never know what lurks behind the facade. Well, this just became too serious maybe. IF we all go to the TBD convention, will somebody here ask me out??!!

I've been on a hiatus, so to speak... for the last 11 months. It's been my time out to just get in touch with myself. A lot of meditation and so on.

I'm not looking forward to dating again as much as the possibility of meeting a lady that makes me feel at home again. I'm not far from ready.

Last one was 2 years ago this coming December. Lady I met on a single site. Wasnt really dress up but I did get her a flower. We ate and talked then she went home. Never saw her again....

I need a date....
