Hi all! This is my first time on an internet discussion group. Where have I been, you ask?? Well, let's just say I've had a pretty remarkable life's journey and have decided there's no use in keeping it all to myself [LOL]
For those of you who don't 'befriend' members that don't have photos, I ask that you keep an open mind. I have no recent photos and don't know how to download them, anyway, so please bear with me while I catch up to modern day technology.
I've been reading a number of discussion groups and have not yet decided what subject matter interest me most. Surely, as interesting and fun as 'sex' is, I cannot imagine myself spending time discussing it with strangers, not because I'm a prude, but because it seems to be such an inane subject for general discussion. I am not a gilded lily or a Martha White, so surface topics and 'decorating tips' will not be in my subject repertoire, either.
I imagine I'll be in on topics of spirituality, education, economics, politics, marriage, and anything medical. I Do have opinions, but you probably won't find me being heavy into rhetoric, theory, European philosophy, etc. I shoot from the hip and say what I believe needs to be said, not just what makes everyone feel good. Don't get me wrong, though, because I've got one of the softest hearts and shoulders as anyone you'd meet . . . I cry a lot, too (Hallmark cards, birth of a baby, beautiful sunset, words said in anger, etc.). Well, I hope you all will like me, at any rate! I'll be chatting with you!!
