There's no such thing as a snake doing anything innocently in my book. They're all evil killers, even the non venemous harmless ones. I lose my cool with any snake, and almost find it irresistible to chop any that come remotely near me into a thousand pieces.

and i'll bet you feel a lot better afterwards too!

me too. How do you get and stay fearless? I sometimes have absolutely ridiculous fears, usually when I am severely depressed. Anything from I'm going to drown in the bathtub (and I don't take baths, only showers) to I'm going to die in my sleep that night for sure, I guess you know where that winds up? Yes another sleepless night.

I am terrified of snakes I know they slither on the ground, whats so funny with me I will be in yard mowing walking or riding and if I see a snake I will go the other way I am scared to death if I run over it will fly back on me.

My husband and myself went out one night and this guy on the street had a dang snake wrapped around his neck (what an idiot) so my husband stopped the truck (the truck had 3 doors on it I was in back seat sitting behind my husband he was driving ,this guy came up to my husband started talking to him and then he let that snake come back to me I almost made that truck into and instant 4 door truck

Where I live down here in Florida,big ugly bugs and reptiles and are pretty much a constant presence especially since the growth in population and development claims more of their habitat daily.With the exception of mosquito's and no-see-um gnats most will not harm you unless you attempt to interact with them in some way.An alligator is dumb animal,if you feed him he begins to equate food with humans and becomes what is known as a 'problem "gator" and has to be destroyed. In spite of any "old wives tales" you may have heard there are no aggressive snakes in the U.S. but if presented with what their small brain perceives to be a life or death situation they will fight back.It's a fact,most snakebites occur to humans trying to kill the snake.
