My Grandmother had many and varied spirit stories connected to the house she lived in. Many family members and visitors also experienced events. My son saw a ghost there when he was only 4. My Grandmother had the house blessed on a number of occasions. The only thing that seemed to calm events--not that anyone was ever harmed--was when my Grams would stand in her living room and stomp her feet and shout for the spirits to get out of her house. She has passed away, at 101, and the house is empty. Or at least it is empty of humans. Vivian

I would like to bring in a younger set here. We often speak of our grandparents having experiences, but a number of young men in their 20's also experienced suffocating presences covering their bodies, sounds with nothing making them apparently. This happened in a Pilot Trainee Dormitory in the 1960's. There are a lot of presences out there - both kind and not so kind. I think it depends on how they died - suddenly or violently vs with time to prepare for the passage. Ed

I have lived in my house for about 25 years and many strange things have occurred here. About 2 years ago I was asleep and I woke up to see a man dressed in glowing electric blue robes and head dress. His eyes glowed the same color and he had a beard. I was so scared I could not move or scream. It seemed I was frozen. After it was over I searched all the rooms but found nothing out of place. There was a terrible odor in my room. During this same time I would wake up and this very large scary face would come up from the side of my bed just when I would turn my head. It scared me just the same way. . . petrified. My son was always in the next room but nothing happened to him.

They went away finally and I do not know what I did to cause them to leave. I have had several other experiences here as well.
