I am mary s. I am retired and live in northern Florida. I have never had a ghost experience in the sense of seeing or hearing anything. I do think that I have encountered spirits: suddenly thinking of a dead person and knowing some truth about them that I didn't know before; sensing the presence of great joy coming from outside me; sensing strength pouring into me from my ancestors.

I am curious about ghosts but would at this point say that I haven't seen anything that convinces me that they exist. I do firmly believe in the spirit, the energy of people going on when it has left a body.

There are investigation groups in my area and I hope to hook up with them just to see what it is like/about. My new retirement comes with a long list of want-to-dos and this is one of them.
