My brother died young (23) of Hodgkin's lymphoma. One or two days later I took a picture of my sister holding my baby son on her lap, at my mom's house, where my brother had spent his last year. In the photo, in the window behind sis, in a fairly clear image, is my brother leaning on the porch railing and facing the direction of a hillside he loved where he had built a log cabin.
i still look for other explanations; was there someone sitting next to her whose reflection is in the window? The geometry and angles are wrong for that. THe depth of the image is wrong. The image is clearly leaning on the railing---no one on the same couch would be in that posture....
At the time, mom was terribly disturbed because she thought he was still hanging around instead of going to the next space. When she was dying, she told us that he was building the door for her.
