Probably not. That's what parents do, whatever the condition of their kid. If you can find out what support and resources are available for him (perhaps from the college or from some national organization) and make sure he has then, then that's really all you CAN do. Letting him know you are worried may undermine his confidence. Pretending not to be worried may feel like unspoken pressure to excel. There's no way to "do right" until after the fact. You've done your child raising.
