Well, first of all, congratulations on bringing up those kids and being married so long. I share both experiences with you. Have you never stopped to review or project on your 'second half of life'? Or, are you comfortable with how your life has been going?

Sorry for the delay in responding. What I found powerful was: "what direction your life is taking and what direction you would like to take". This clicked with me because at times where you are going and where you want to go are not the same.
I recently made a decision to pursue a dream (where I want to go) and abandon where I was going...I hope that makes sense. Have you found that there are many times when the two directions are not the aligned? What are your thoughts about periodically re-assessing your direction to make sure your direction is taking you to where you want to be?
Hi Kathy, welcome back. I hope Colette will also return to the fold. I am glad that my phrase rings true with you. I can assure you that many thousands are experiencing the same sentiments. What you say makes a lot of sense. It is absolutely imperative to reconsider not just directions, but vision,goals,motives,perspectives in order to determine if our efforts are misplaced, and if we could be having more joy NOW, rather than later. It is not just environmental issues, but our thought-life and personal development that needs to be 'sustainable'. Don't you feel proud that you were able to make the choice to follow your dream and now you should not look back. Please continue to share with us. Take care.
