What a wonderful statement! However, I need to edit one part and change it to... "if we CAN be all that we could be."

This is something I believe in- being all I can be. My grandfather had told me as a child to always remember, "experience is your best teacher." Through my experiences in life, I can teach and help others overcome "pitfalls" sort of speak.

I often wondered though, through my years of growing up- I am only one small voice among the vast majority and how could anyone hear me or what I had to say? I guess now, by taking one God given talent and putting it to use, I've been heard! *chuckle*

When my articles as a freelance journalist for one of the local newspapers where we had lived, were published- I began to witness miracles just from what I had written. How amazing is that? It wasn't long until I realized I was on the right path.

With my writing- I write stories that are fiction but based on true life incidents. However, my main focus is writing stories that have an element of help in them, not only for adults but children as well.

I've written a children's book but sadly, I don't think my agent is trying much to get it out in the market. That's ok tho' as my contract with them expires sometime in October- once it does, that will be another book I'll submit to my publisher. This story is based on how important it is to tell the truth and how good the child can feel in doing so. My own children here at home inspired this one as my son is bipolar and my daughter is ADHD.

Right now, I'm writing a story just for fun with suspense in it. Thus far, I have 165 pages written but expect the book will be a little over 300 pages when completed.

funny that you are the third person in recent weeks I have heard talk about getting rid of their agent and working directly with a publisher. As you must know the talk has always been that you can't get to a publisher without an agent. Your experience seems to have been different. I will take a look at the site. I assume your story is there?

You are really courageous and isn't it strange how the more tests and challenges the more we bloom, if we take the cues and make the right moves.
