Do you mean favorite locations in India? I have not been to as many places as you, I am sure ... I spent most of my time in the Northwestern area of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajistan and Dehli ... I enjoyed visiting Amritsar, Agra, Ludhiana, Yamuna Nagarh and many small places in between. I enjoyed visiting Mother Teresa's home at Shishu Bhawan. I especially liked the people. My trip was not a standard "tourist" trip and I was lucky to see places that Americans rarely go ... also the people there rarely have a chance to meet Westerners. I went as part of a Rotary International team for a "National Immunization Day (NID)" ... immunizing children against polio. You are welcome to view My photo album here:

Hi Jon, so glad you have visited these places 'not as a tourist'... no matter where I go, my preference is to be able to get a flavor of the place... the real one, and then also look at the standard site... I'll check out your pictures soon... am about to go off on a journey, this time out of India.. and if you like I'll load some pictures from different parts [of India] that I have been to....although a friend of mine has a real treasure of these... and we all like to go on trips together
Namaste, Suneeta! I visited several places in Northwestern India ... Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajistan ... of course, Delhi. I am also involved in a water well project in the town of Roorkee. The project will build two public restrooms in Roorkee, one at the train station and one at the public market. It will be a clean facility for both men and women and will include filtered water and an ultraviolet light capacity to sterilize the filtered water to remove all viruses from the water. The idea is to remove Polio, Diptheria and Cholera viruses from the water. We are doing this in an international cooperation effort with a group in Roorkee. When the project is built, it is possible that I will visit India again ... I have friends in Chandigarh and am looking forward to visiting other areas of India.
Much of the time I spent in India was related to the National Immunization Day ... we spent several days immunizing children against polio (many photos of that project are on the site I posted above.) In order to do this, we had to spend time in "off the tourist map" places where Western people rarely go.
I would enjoy seeing your photos very much.
